Who you calling Bambi???

At the end of the 2004 season a seed of an idea appeared from Nicky Blower the player representative, she decided to try to organise a "friendly" game between the team and a select team made up of dads, brothers, cousins, partners, friends, or "special guests". As a result of this she convinced Dave Adey to put together a team, who along with parent Steve Henry, organised a training session or two, after this initial training it was game on!

A large crowd of well wishers, and plain inquisitive, noisy, hockey officiando's turned out to see the game which the BAMBI BOYS, (so called because most of them struggled to stand up) lead from the start with the game eventually finishing 8-8.

Many thanks to all those who turned out for both teams, and especially to the 2 new guys who if they carry on practicing could be good at this great game, well done Luc Chabot and Pavel Mihalek!!
